Editor-in-Chief, Sandpiper Newsletter

We are looking for a creative and discerning individual to take over the reins of our quarterly newsletter, The Sandpiper.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to gain experience in writing, editing, and overseeing the publication of a publication that is delivered to our membership and beyond.  It is a rewarding job for the right person, writing and overseeing the development of this environmental publication. 

Tasks include: meeting with volunteers and staff to identify newsletter themes and story topics, volunteer recruitment, soliciting submissions from authors, artists and advertisers, graphic design of the electronic newsletter (or recruiting someone to do the graphics), and editing of final submissions.
