The Sierra Club Atlantic is looking for your help to continue with its cutting edge environmental education programs. Every day, our staff are helping to connect children with nature, raise awareness of the impact their decisions have on the earth, and engage them as leaders within their schools and communities. Deep funding cuts at provincial and federal levels as well as the economic downturn mean that we can’t keep coming back .. without you, our supporters.

Your donation, large or small, will help us continue to bring valuable environmental education to thousands of children and youth in the Atlantic Region. A donation of $80 will help us reach one child, $800 would support peer mentorship between high school SierraBuddies and Grade 6 students, a donation of $2400 would connect thirty children to the wonders of nature by providing three weeks of Wild Child Nature Immersion to an after-school program.

This year, we need to to raise $20,000 to support the cost of travelling to schools, making props and games, and supporting some paid staff time to reach new areas in Newfoundland and Labrador and Prince Edward Island.
